I created Bonnie Voyage because I believe Scotland deserves to be experienced, not just seen, especially during those unforgettable Scotland holidays.
For me, the best tours, including Edinburgh walking tours, aren’t about rushing from one landmark to another. They’re about the stories, the laughs, the unexpected moments, and the memories you take home with you.
Life is too short for boring holidays. So let’s explore, get a little lost and create stories worth telling, whether on a Highland experience or with local guide tours.

Scottish food obsession:
I take my Scottish breakfast very seriously. Tattie scones, Lorne sausage, eggs, and a generous splash of brown sauce. If my day starts like this, I’m basically unstoppable.

🤪 Fun fact:
When I was 18, I sold a suit to the King of Sweden, King Carl XVI Gustaf.
I worked in an Edinburgh suit shop on weekends during my studies and one day The King came in with his bodyguards.
I had no idea who they were and simply went through with the fitting and sale as normal as my manager spoke to his staff.
My manager told me later who he was and that he enjoyed being treated like a normal person.
📍 Favourite place:
My favorite part of Scotland is the Forth Bridges Viewpoint - South Queensferry Car Park and I like to come here right after arriving in Scotland by plane.
I get to look across the water to where I grew up in Fife, feeling the sea breeze on my face and look up to the bridges I have looked at my whole life, now from this side of the Forth.
I've never lived more than 20 minutes from the sea, people often associate Scotland with Highlanders but we are also Islanders.
Coffee or whisky?
I’m still choosing coffee as it’s easier to drink daily. But that doesn’t mean I don’t like a good whisky.
Scottish food obsession:
Stornoway Black Pudding, all black pudding is great but Stornoway is the best!
Pop it in a morning roll, mix it into your scrambled eggs or as part of fine dining, you can't go wrong with Stornoway's finest.
You want someone who will make you laugh, reflect and leave knowing Edinburgh a little differently than when you arrived and more than the postcard version of Edinburgh

I once led wildlife tours in the Peruvian Amazon next to a real life jaguar. Edinburgh's history doesn't scare me half as much.
📍 Favourite place in Scotland & why:
Callander Falls. It's an amazing place to get lost in nature and I have great memories of gorge walking the river during summers.

Coffee to start the tour. Whiskey to recover from it.

Macaroni Pie. As it sounds, a pie filled with macaroni cheese. No fear of carbs here.
